Staff
Jay and Martha have worked in Youth and Children's ministries all of their adult lives. Jay was Youth and Music minister at Red Oak FBC, Mangum FBC, Poteau FBC, and Antlers FBC before coming to KBA in 1999. Jay and Martha have 3 children: Micah, Nathanael, and Maribeth; 2 daughters-in-law: Melissa and Lindsey; and 4 wonderful granddaughters: Kallyn, Taylee, McKenna, and Keely.
Micah and his wife, Melissa have 2 daughters, Kallyn and Taylee. Micah came to KBA in 2005 and is also part-time Youth Minister at First Baptist Church, Red Oak.
KBA has over 20 summer staff positions it fills each year. These staffers are college-age students who are born-again Christians with a deep desire to serve the Lord. Staffers do a variety of jobs including: Ropes course, recreation, yard work, camp stores, office, maintenance and many others. Employment is for 11 weeks and requires students to live in staff housing on camp. It is a challenging and rewarding experience. For information see the "How To Become A Staffer" section in the web site info center or you can contact Jay or Martha.
