Kiamichi Baptist Assembly is located in a beautifully picturesque setting on the western edge of the Winding Stair Mountains. With century old pines and mixed hardwoods, the rolling hills of camp offer the perfect spot to come apart from the day to day worries of the world and concentrate on hearing from the Lord through the power of His Word.
KBA is a Christian camp owned and operated by the Southern Baptist Churches of the 5 associations of Southeastern Oklahoma. KBA was founded in 1942 and dedicated to the Lord as a place for people to come and hear God's Word and experience His love, salvation, and encouragement. In the decades that have followed, hundreds of thousands have attended camp here and tens of thousands have responded to God's offer of salvation and forgiveness.
Kiamichi Baptist Assembly has grown from a brush arbor meeting area, tent camping, and outdoor cooking to what is today one of the largest associational camps in the country. The worship tabernacle seats over 1,500; there are over 40 cabins owned by individual churches with over 2,000 beds on the campground, with each of the cabins having its own kitchen and dining area. Originally, the summer camp was a two week meeting once each year. Now, KBA is a year-round facility that features 10 weeks of summer camp beginning in May and going until the first of August.
